Career Centers

Amador Valley and Foothill High Schools each have a Career Center on campus staffed with a work-based learning specialist and supplied with materials for college and career planning. Materials include print media, online, and computer-based options.

Academies/Pathways

Amador Valley, Foothill, and Village High Schools each have academy or pathway programs that focus on career exploration. A student may sign up for an academy in his/her sophomore year. Academy activities include: in-class presentations, guest speakers, field trips, job shadowing, and internships. The academies also provide a smaller learning community for students.
